A brand new UDI Verification Service website is lanuched for GMDN Agency.
The GMDN Agency is responsible for the Global Medical Device Nomenclature (GMDN) used to identify medical devices.
The application makes use of product Unique Device Identifier (UDI) data provided by a regulator, collected as part of a IMDRF compliant national product registration database. The application is intended to be used by a medical device regulator to search the GMDN database and display the relevant UDI data for any medical device available on their national market. The application makes use of GMDN Collective Terms to identify larger sets of device and allow searches of the GMDN database by device attribute or device identifier.
The website has been built with C#, ASP.Net MVC, HTML5 and CSS3 using Bootstrap.
